This study was conducted over the period August 2000 to
December 2001. Several data gathering methods were used, including:
• Written survey of Insulators;
• Regional focus groups
with contractors and Insulators;
• Telephone interviews with owner/clients;
• Discussions
with Business Representatives from Insulator Locals;
• Literature
review of existing data, information, reports, etc.; and
• Analysis
using the computer-based Construction Labour Market Projection
System.
